Legacy Fundraising Consultant for UK charities

I help UK charities build, grow and strengthen legacy giving programmes that deliver long-term income.

Home

20+ years of legacy fundraising experience.

Hi, I'm Jensen. Legacy fundraising can transform your charity's future, but it's challenging to know where to focus and how to build momentum.

I’ve spent over 20 years building and leading legacy fundraising programmes inside UK charities of all sizes so I understand the roadblocks, the organisational hesitations, and what actually drives supporter action.

If you’re looking to grow legacy income for your charity, I can help you build and develop a structured, confident, and high performing programme.

"I chose the name Barefoot because it reflects my straightforward approach, stripping away unnecessary complexity and helping you move forward with clarity."

How I can help.

My support

I can help you to develop a new and existing legacy fundraising strategy and its accompanying supporter journeys.

Building the foundations for a new legacy fundraising programme

For UK charities with little or no legacy programme, I can structure a programme to build a strong legacy fundraising programme from the ground up. Together, we put the essential building blocks in place creating a clear and confident foundation for sustainable growth.

Developing your existing legacy fundraising programme

For UK charities with an existing legacy programme, I can review their existing programme, assess what is working, identify what may be holding results back, and refine approach so legacy fundraising feels more relevant, effective, and ready for the next stage of growth.

About me

About me

My journey into legacy fundraising started back in 2004 at Dogs Trust as a Legacy Marketing Officer. From day one, it wasn’t just a job—it was a passion.

Helping people create lasting change through their legacies felt deeply meaningful, and that feeling has never left me.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of leading legacy fundraising teams for some incredible UK charities, most recently at Woodgreen, The Pets Charity.

In 2019, I built their first-ever Legacy Fundraising Team and developed the charity's first legacy

strategy from the ground up. Doubling and tripling the size of

the pledger and intender base respectively to secure a future of greater impact for the charity is one of my proudest achievements.
