Phase 1
Legacy readiness audit
Before investing in a programme to grow a pledger base, you need confidence that it will work. My Readiness Audit gives that clarity by assessing viability, feasibility and desirability in one structured review.
It shows whether the financial case stacks up, whether your charity has the capability to deliver, and whether a chosen audience is likely to respond.
Phase 2
Legacy pilot programme
The pilot phase takes the findings from the Readiness Audit and turns them into a working legacy programme.
Rather than committing immediately to full-scale delivery, I'll help you build a programme that allows you to trial your approach to grow a pledger base, validate what resonates with supporters, and develop the internal systems needed to scale with confidence.
Phase 3
Legacy implementation
After the pilot phase, I can support or fully manage key activities such as legacy campaign execution, supporter response handling and other activities, ensuring we keep momentum.
This creates early traction with supporters and provides the required evidence needed to shape a scalable legacy programme.
About me.
My journey into legacy fundraising started back in 2004 at Dogs Trust. From day one, it wasn’t just a job—it was a passion.
Helping people create lasting change through their legacies felt deeply meaningful, and that feeling has never left me.
I’ve had the privilege of leading legacy fundraising teams for some incredible UK charities, most notably at Woodgreen, The Pets Charity.
In 2019, I built their first-ever Legacy Fundraising Team and developed the charity's first legacy
strategy from the ground up. Doubling and tripling the size of
the pledger and intender base respectively to secure a future of greater impact for the charity is one of my proudest achievements.
